A foundation Dutch tech craftsman with an oceanic body of acclaimed work behind him, he marks his arrival on Josh Winks stable with another one of his signature jacking house sessions. The strong groove flavour can be tasted within seconds of biting into the track as a big warm bassline bumps with classic NY-style hypnosis. The strutting drums maintaining order, Michel carefully guides us up the euphoric scale without ever losing control the reigns. Classy, soulful but deep and dark whatever side of the house/techno axis you flex, this will find a perfect sweet spot in your set. Remix-wise Ovum invite another new friend: Local Talk founder Crackazat brings more organs to the party androlls out a dynamic deep house groove that rises deftly with Chandler-style chords before dropping into a sunlit, goosebumping expanded version of the riff. Dont even talk to us about his Dub 1 version Utilising the same build as his original mix, the riff is suddenly joined by an elastic bassline that can ping us from his Bristol hometown to Ovum's Philly HQ and back again.
