"It’s pretty raw and ‘hype’ if you ask me! Think I have been inspired lately by a bunch of new open-minded people I’ve met and going through a period of sexual discovery slash liberation. It’s quite some story that I won’t repeat here, but a couple of friends were engaged in some high jinx in the room whilst I was recording this and I think it really fed the energy of the mix!

Here we find the elusive Mike Servito in his natural habitat, closing No
Way Back in Detroit 2018, always one of the highlights of 313: Return to
the Source. It has become a sort of annual tradition to have him close
the party, as he balances the light with the dark in such an effortless
way. As he played “The Climax” I remember the feeling in the crowd, it
was magic. This set is directly after Derek Plaslaiko had finished playing
and an impromptu tag team ensued. This set presented here is Mike
Servito solo, killing it as he always does.

More emerging talent out of Montreal comes in the shape of fast-rising DJ & selector Lis Dalton. Having been intro'd to the Lobster family by Dust-e-1, Lis' solidly-blended sets and knack for a break-y earworm has led to her recording being hammered in the office.

Between key gigs on the Montreal circuit (supporting Yaeji and hitting highly-respectable festivals Piknic Electronik & Shaker Mountain) she's contributed mixes for Bake's Rinse FM show (alongside regular booth mate DJ Frog) as well as an other worldly Graphite Publications set.

This Lobster mix is a dream-world of percussive breaks and sizzling rhythms. Blended, baked and arranged to a T! Lis has rocketed up our list of ones to watch, let's hope she comes to Europe some time soon :)

"I recorded this mix in a very blissed out and mellow mood. Maybe good music to sit and ponder the order of the universe, or just take in that earth is a nice little home, or maybe just stare out your window and think about nothing in particular, kind of like your dog does when you're not home. It includes both some old and new favorites of mine, all music that has moved me in one way or another... to tears even. Thanks to all beings whose musical contributions made this mix."
