Who is Nick Lowe, you ask?  Unless you're the type of music fan who reads liner notes, you may not be aware of his influence and stature.  He is the legendary pub rocker formerly of Rockpile. He's also:

- The producer of The Pretenders' single "Stop Your Sobbing".
-  The producer of The Damned's first album.  

"Cruel To Be Kind" is Mr. Lowe's best known U.S hit and definitely a classic song in every way.
