Song Story: Before "The Dream" was a single produced by acclaimed artist, John O'Callaghan, it was simple guitar song that I wrote while I was moving between California and New York. Life was changing more rapidly than I could mentally keep up... you might know the feeling? I was lucky to spend a month in the mountains in Colorado with my oldest sister - while I was there I wrote both "The Dream" and "Stars" which both appeared on my album "All We Have Is Now." This version was recorded with rock producer/engineer Jon D'Uva and a few of my favorite players - Jay Barclay (guitar), Pete Donnelly (bass), and Mike Levesque (drums). 

Lyrically, it's about living life to the fullest and being brave in the face of confusion.
