Holy shit this is actually really damn good. I feel like this would make a great dramatic boss fight, perhaps a first boss fight before everything goes to shit or something?

This part around here really sounds like someone is powering up.  I suspect it's a boss battle tune for someone who looked unsuspecting but is actually quite dangerous, but given its generally upbeat tune, I imagine they're just testing you...so the tutorial boss against an ally of yours, I suppose?\

a cinematic of some important boss (0:00) before a chase section away from the boss (0:21), followed by an inevitable fight attempt (1:00), at some point the fight becomes more intense for the challengers (1:30), after which the challengers get towards the final leg of the fight (2:16), ending victorious over the challenge (as they usually do)

I like the variations on the main motif a lot! Overall really like it. The synth/continuously variable instrument seems a bit too nasal though.

sounds like a more epic fight, so definitely not for a basic fight.

If Asgore wasn't killed instantly in the Genoside Route, he would fight you with the power of all the souls and this music would play.

A character in your party has some sort of emotional breakdown and starts a fight with you, determined to either kill you or make you kill them. Surely there must be a third option...
