The unconditional passion for sound, motion and perfection defines the vision of Kike am Radar. And Kike is currently re-writing the rules for slowed-down and reduced electronic music by gluing together different influences, opening new spectrums and introducing the world to a new wave of slow burning down beats between minimal techno, dark disco and a breeze of rock music. Recently, the Dresden based producer and dj delivered his debut Testament ep on Dogs & Vultures, showing the complexity of his music: reduced, powerful, rough and delicate at the same time. But no matter what influences a new piece has, it always sounds like the Kike am Radar story.

Die unbedingte Leidenschaft für Klang, Bewegung und Perfektion definiert die Vision von Kike am Radar. Und Kike am Radar ist gerade dabei, mit diesem Credo das Regelbuch für entschleunigte und reduzierte elektronische Musik neu zu verfassen, den tiefgründigen und emotionalen Sound zwischen minimalem Techno, Dark-Disco und einer Brise Rock neu zu definieren und Einflüsse zusammen zu bringen, die vorher nicht miteinander vereinbar waren. Gerade hat der Dresdner Produzent und DJ sein Debüt „Testment ep“ auf Dogs & Vultures abgeliefert und spätestens damit auch über das sprichwörtliche Tal der Ahnungslosen hinaus gezeigt, von welcher Komplextität seine Musik erzählt. Reduziert, kraftvoll, roh und filigran zugleich und immer am Rande der Perfektion, so erzählt Kike am Radar – egal aus welchen Einflüssen sich der Sound gerade bedient – immer seine ganz eigene Geschichte durch die Klanglandschaften elektronischer Musik.
