Sleeping Giants

Hi! I'm a 30 years old unemployed enthusiast of technology, networks and computing.

I'm a computer programmer especially interested in Python, and the fields of Ontological Engineering and Natural language processing.
I have a basic-medium knowledge of 3d engine geometry programming, including DirectX and OpenGL, and multimedia programming, and digital audio processing.
I also have a solid understanding of the C and C++ programming languages (about 15 years of experience), formal grammars and some notions about compiler principles and techniques. I also had programmed the assembler for the IA32 architecture using MASM32 and TASM32.
At present i'm very dedicated in programming web-crawlers, i had programmed with Python/Urllib2 and also with Java/Nutch. I'm very interested in, and profoundly impressed by, the projects Lucene, Solr, and Hadoop of the Apache foundation.
I Love Debian. It has changed my life. Happyness.

My great passion for life is computer programming, but, on the other hand, music is my great hobbie. I have never received academic formation on musical issues, but learned by myself the basics.
I had been recently mesmerized by the CSound and CSoundQt open-source projects.
