London-based band, Idle Youth release their next single Disconnect, an energetic yet chilled synth pop song that spans new wave, post punk and all things 80’s, whilst remaining present day. Mastered By legendary engineer Noel Summerville, Disconnect lyrically discusses our over-reliance on technology and it’s inevitable knock on effects to our relationships with the world. 

Inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevski’s ‘The Brothers Karamazov’, questions of reality and free will are questioned. A dream pop feel runs ever present through the song, musically and lyrically.
