Before stepping behind the decks, she spent years on the other side — the dancefloor. That’s where her passion for sound was born, eventually evolving into a desire to craft her own DJ sets. Today, she performs as a DJ, sharing her carefully curated selections and infectious energy. Her sets revolve around bass-driven sounds, with strong influences from UK garage, broken rhythms, techno, hardcore, and jungle at 160+ BPM. The key is to keep it bouncy, bass-heavy, and far from boring! Currently based in Wrocław, she is also the founder of the bass party series PINACOLADA, which played a vital role in supporting the development of the electronic music scene in Opole. The event also stood out for promoting gender equality behind the decks, creating space for women and gender-diverse artists from various backgrounds.

City Of Ghosts EP

In 1999 I saw Blame play in Boston, and he began his set with Seba's "Predator", then on dubplate. It was unlike anything any one of us had heard before. My mates and I looked at each other, transfixed, as the dark, tribal vibe filled the room. It was a long ways from what we knew as "atmospheric jungle", and Blame surprised us with a heavyweight set that included the amen crusher "Point Four".

Since then, few tunes like "Predator" have followed it. Some releases on 720 by Odyssey and Deep Blue briefly carried the torch, and there was a wave of "tribal" half-time dnb in the 2010s, but otherwise whatever trail "Predator" blazed has remained threadlike and obscure, like the path in this mix's artwork.

This mix follows that trail to see where it could go. It isn't explicitly "tribal" so much as mystical and psychedelic. This thin rope of a trail traverses a good amount of dub territory, passing briefly through France, where artists Hydrangea and Aerae ply the atmospheric techno spectrum. This is a journey of intuition, where mystery lies around each corner and destination is not a concern.
