Apparel Music Radio show is happy to present a new episode with world' promo mix (121bpm) selected by kISk. 
Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka Kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. After years spent paying his dues in Milan’s historic clubs, from Old Fashion to Amnesia, in unauthorized centri sociali or ‘squat clubs’, fashion shows and radio work, he turned his attention to production. He explored a variety of genres, from trip hop to swing, passing through jungle, West London and Detroit house, to deep house, while never abandoning jazz – the wildest and most impeccable of all - progressively building a digital project. Out of this came the concept of Jazzy, the ability to make jazz and electronic music communicate. This passion is also manifest in the Oneboy project - musical instruments played live to a DJ set.

Solid Steel in association with Serato (5th June) Our first guest this week is Dan Shake, who released his first record on Moodymann's Mahogani Music label, which is no mean feat as he is the first artist to appear on that label that isn't from Detroit. His second release was on the excellent Black Acre label, which had spins on Solid Steel. He has now teamed up with recent guest Medlar for a new EP called 'Walk' on Delusions of Grandeur and is coming out at the end of June. He told us;
“This mix uses a variety of music I have in my collection, some old and some new. All of which i’ve been listening to lots at the moment, and all of which should get ya body movin’!”

Luca Lozano’s interpretation sits somewhere between a remix and an edit, swapping out the original drums for an 808 and some breakbeats. Originally intended only for personal use on the dance floors, Klasse Wrecks is pleased to announce it is now available for public enjoyment via a one-sided white label.
