Apnée Artefact has been organizing events in partnership with Bad to the Bone magazine, where exhibitions, performances and A / V lives merge, and now starts a new chapter launching the record label with "Crossing Sheol", the massive new album from Blime Dust & The Undertaker's Tapes. 

Sheol, translated as « common grave of humanity » or « abyss » is the underworld of the Old Testament. A place which all the dead souls go and remain until the Last Judgement; both the righteous and the wicked, regardless of the moral choices made in life. A place of stillness and darkness cut off from God.

This collaboration presents 9 tracks of power electronics, experimental noise, industrial, techno, dark ambient & ritualistic sounds, embodying rage-filled distorted vocals, destructive war drums, harsh guitars & abstract noises.

OBSCUUR is proud to welcome back the excellent Liza Aikin, after her stellar contribution to the “Withered Tales” album. Liza returns with her own release, a take on industrial techno named “Infirm Past”.
Her signature brand of techno spans over two original tracks, a force of sound cemented by how well it blends with the remix efforts of Swarm Intelligence and VSK. This is an EP covering all grounds, from immersive techno to harder-edge dance floor percussion.
First up is “Hospital Bed”, club ready and on the harder end of the scale, it delivers increasingly frustrating emotions through percussion packed with field recordings literally from the mechanisms within hospital machines. Swarm Intelligence adds the remix favour, with a growling bassline and broken techno cuts.
“Emmaus” follows up, with a sophisticated palette of layered pounding rhythms. Glued together with a hypnotically morphing melody, VSK steps up to the plate for the remix, plastering his well-known sound all over and slowing the drums to achieve a pure meditative hallucination.
Liza Aikin consistently strives to push her sound in new directions, the known mixing with the unknown, making this EP a rewarding listening experience both at the club and at home.

Cypher is an EP with a particular sound that tries to combine different alternative variants generating a dark environment but at the same time a constant "electricity" throughout the entire record.

The release will be presented in digital & physical cassette format and will include huge remixes by Magnum Opus, Evil Dust, SOJ, Black Propaganda and Boudhicca, a killer combination of styles from Colombia, UK, Spain and South Korea.
