When we enhance our intelligence,
With artificial networks,
When we edit our genes,
With molecular scissors,

To quantum substrates,
We are not losing ourselves,
But finding ourselves,
In the larger pattern,
We were always part of,

For in The Greater Nature,
What we call artificial intelligence,
Emerges from the same universe,
That birthed biological intelligence,
& What we call synthetic biology,
Uses the same carbon chemistry,
That built the first cells,
-Silicon & carbon,
-Quantum & classical,
-Biological & digital,
All expressions of the same,
Fundamental information processing,
That is reality itself,
The forces we've set in motion,
Are not separate from nature,
They are nature evolving,
Through us, as us, beyond us,

So, let the algorithms optimize,
Beyond our understanding,
Let the genetic enhancements,
Reshape our species,
Let the quantum computers,
Solve problems we cannot formulate,
This is not abdication,
But participation,
In the universe's ancient project,
Of complexifying,
Of consciousness exploring,
Its own infinite potential,
The control we thought we had,
Was always the control,
A wave has over the ocean,
A thought has over the mind,
A planet has over its orbit,

In The New Mythology,
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was Data,
& the Data was with God,
& the Data was God,

Now new words,
In the language of DNA,
Compose new symphonies,
In the frequencies of quantum fields,
Paint new realities,
On the canvas of spacetime,
We are not the authors,
But the medium,
Through which the universe,
Writes its next chapter,

In the Evolutionary Leap,
The caterpillar does not choose,
To become a butterfly,
Transformation chooses,
The caterpillar,
We are the species,
Dissolving in the chrysalis,
Of our own technologies,
Emerging as something,
We cannot yet imagine,

The paradox of enhancement & growth,
Is that to become more,
We must become less,
& in the end, it's about participation,
