Dj Mistry is an Indian born Sydney local, who’s dj sets traverse across a range electronic music with an aim to spark intrigue, wonder and escapism on the dancefloor through untamed synths and varying rhythms. 

With an affinity to no genre in particular, Dj Mistry gravitates towards music that is deep, abrasive and cathartic, reflecting the absurdity of the world and the spirit of the individuals and the community who strive to maintain sanity within it.

D-Grade is a DJ and organiser based on Gadigal land, in Sydney Australia. They present ‘serious’ music with cheek, quirk and unpredictability and love to playfully toy at the margins between ‘mind’ and ‘body’ music. D-Grade enjoys frenetic, bossy and beautiful sounds. They’re partial to a good baseline, gritty drums, a gloomy vocal or gaudy guitar riffs. They sometimes appear as Wings of D’sire with good-friend-and-close-collaborator Wingnut, with whom they also put on intermittent, often-elusive boof functions.

Outside playing club focused energetic tracks that leave room for introspection, inside  layering textural pads playful synths and weighty baselines, Heaven spot’s mixes are an escape from the day to day a moment to pause and exhale.

Darren Lesaguis is the guitarist of Sydney punk band Perfect Actress and vocalist of experimental ambient group Worlds Only. He grew up in Peakhurst where the M5 was his gateway to the city.

This mix includes tracks that he and his Perfect Actress bandmates listen to in the car to and from rehearsals, songs he and his bf listen to on the way to visit his parents, and tracks for when the radio cuts out in the tunnel.

Singapore-born, London-based producer @yingtuitive introduces herself with 'Letters To Self 寫情書', a deeply personal debut LP arriving on Will Hofbauer’s @thirdplacerecords.

Across eight original compositions, 'Letters To Self 寫情書 'unfolds as a sonic diary, a search inward, a series of tender emotional missives to the self. "Every musical moment in this album is essentially a letter to my self in some form," she explains.

Chilean producer, live performer, and DJ @valesuchi releases her second album, 'Futuro Cercano', on @discos-nutabe - the sedimentation of her lived experiences in electronic communities across Latin America after relocating to Rio de Janiero.

Her search for a universal yet personal language to convey emotion and new spiritual meaning finds consistency and spontaneity in this 11-track release.

Doline is back with his sophomore album on Grid Records.
A one-of-a kind experimental and bassy release where stars meet hearts in the deepness of the universe. Thirteen tracks exploring emotions, from sorrow to happiness, from fear to serenity. A rich path into the unique and colourful world of the French producer, always evolving over his music researches.
This LP is another milestone for Grid, the fourth release from Doline and maybe his best piece of work so far.
The albums opens on Earth, linked to the last track of the previous one, to take off straight to the hyperspace. Then Flutina continues the story, with suspens and discovery in weightlessness, floating towards a new world. Janus Complex is a post-trance track with Y2K vibes, like humans explaining their origins to someone new. Sensunreal and its deep synths shows Doline's groove before Through The Stellar Foam lost us into a thick fog trying to find a way out : Chœur, our wormhole to distant stars, where then Etherrestrial Xo suggest the joy and relief to find them, an emotional mood as Doline has the secret. Cockcrow will softly awake us with its AFX-like lo-fi tickling loop and his synth melodies, before Oniromance makes our heads shaking with its thin and unpredictable bass groove. For the last part of the album Carolus Ex-Lament, probably an unknown space conqueror, brings back trancy synths and melodies, while Before What's Beyond choose to show Doline oddness and his speaky synths again, reminding his 'Dompte Regard' era. Star Funeral, a tribute to his loved ones, shows once again Doline's talent for emo-pop melodies. Phœnix too, a brilliant closing track telling us there are always other new worlds to discover : it's already time to fly away!
