Summer 2020 kicks off with the first bootleg release on the label since this time last year with Kiwi starlet The Phat Controlla and his unofficial sub low UKG take on fellow Leeds’ artist and MOBO award winner Graft - ‘Ignited Flows’.

The Phat Controlla is another unearthed gem of the Kiwi Records label who started producing in 2017. Having kept a relatively low profile only sending out finished works to a very select few, The Prince Of UKG - Conducta soon picked him up for the the Kiwi shows keeping its promise of highlighting the NUKG talent, firstly at Kiwi Hush (Keep Hush) followed by three legs of the BK2SKL Tour in Autumn 2019.

Since then he has gone on to appear on Rinse FM on numerous occasions, including alongside the Kiwi camp for the Kiwi Records: Christmas Special as well as releases across Mangoes + Melons and Strictly House & Garage. Alongside Conducta’s heavy handed support he has amassed support from the likes of Mind Of A Dragon, Sammy Virji, Sharda, and the icing on the cake.. his main inspiration and UKG icon Todd ‘The God’ Edwards.
