Kill Joy City or KJC are a British Alternative-Metal band combining a mix of both modern and classical metal elements with a European industrial edge and a fast paced style found in Japanese rock.

Formed in 2010, the band have been cutting their teeth on the Birmingham metal music circuit performing at high profile shows such as the Regional Final of the Surface Unsigned festival where the performed on the O2 Academy Birmingham Main Stage as part of the Top 20 unsigned artist's in the West Midland

KJC have also played with other artists such as Senses Fail, Tragedy as well as performing at Cock Rock Festival 2011 alongside big name artist such as Funeral For a Friend and Gallows.

The band are currently preparing for the release of their Debut album 'Fractures In Glass', which will be available in May 2014, and looking towards touring the UK for the first time at the end of 2014.
