A journey of mine, spending with a special soul under the KeriKeri waterfall helped inspire another section of this track, with an audio sample used from the sound of the waterfall breaking the surface of the water. I've had this track on the backburner for quite some time, creating newly engineered sounds and trying new experimental techniques I can say I'm pretty happy with how this track's turned out, deep and meaningful - we all have Instinkt inside of us - be free :)

Feels incredible to be releasing my Debut Album, it's been such a long process and such a long challenge it kind of felt like this day would never come, but it did.

Conceptually the album is about romanticizing a naive world view. That naiveness and ignorance is something to be cherished. There's something really beautiful about the perfect worldview you have as a kid, that the world is harmless, beautiful and good. The more you learn and experience though the more you realise everything isn't perfect. So the less you know the more beautiful it is, it's the things we haven't done, the places we don't know, that have this unquestionable beauty to it. it's this world i'm trying to mirror with my album, the one that stays in your imagination.

Musically i knew i wanted to do a sonic representation of the concept, blending worldly sounds with small bedroom type samples and soundscapes. I really loved the idea of those two polarizing things being the two main factors that would lay the ground for the album.

After being a fan of @aviella-winder for a while she sent me the demo that has since turned into this record. it has gone through so many different versions during the 7 months we've been working on it that we even ended up making an acoustic.

I managed to finish this idea by leaving it for a few weeks without listening to it or working on it. A fresh pair of ears when I came back helped me create within something that wasn't finished in the first place. I never used to work well like this but every track on this EP has been finished this way.
