i began this song on August 27, 2021, fourteen days after i wrote what I considered to be my suicide note. i wrote this song with hope in my heart after experiencing that low point, and now i'm still here almost three years later. i'm releasing this song for my younger self that day with a message at the end of the song that i'm certain he would have wanted to hear at that moment. you will make it out and you won't believe the love you'll get to experience in the future. keep going until then.
