This is a quick edit/bootleg we made for Gramophonedzie's track "Why don't You". 

The original version is awesome and we love it, but we re-arranged it and added new bass and percussions to give it the KYTV sound!

Caros amigos, hoje é um dia muito importante pra gente e um marco em nossa carreira. Já são 10 anos de estrada, mais de 150 músicas lançadas, turnês por todo o Brasil e ao redor do mundo.  Mas todos sabemos: a vida, pra ser bem vivida, precisa ser movida por novos desafios e caminhos.

Temos o orgulho de apresentar a primeira de uma série de novas faixas que temos desenvolvido nos últimos 6 meses! 

A música eletrônica passa por constante mudança e nós, como individuos, também. Resolvemos que era hora de experimentar outras e sonoridades e incrementar nosso processo criativo, trazendo também outros colaboradores pro nosso estudio - compositores, cantores e engenheiros de áudio. Tivemos a oportunidade de trabalhar com gente de todo canto - Norte-americanos, Europeus, Africanos - tem sido uma experiência muito legal pra gente.

Enfim, aquele mesmo tesão de 10 anos atrás de quando éramos apenas dois moleques descobrindo uma nova paixão está de volta. Nos encontramos numa sonoridade com harmonias e melodias mais complexas e arranjos mais modernos.

Essa primeira faixa que estamos apresentando foi feita em parceria com a talentosíssima cantora inglesa Shaz Sparks, que já teve uma de suas faixas no topo absoluto - o TOP1 do gênero dubstep no Beatport e tem trabalhado com grandes nomes da Emusic. 

Desencanamos de banalidades como a distinção limitante entre o underground e o comercial. Música é música e o que vale nessa vida é ter prazer no que se faz! Aguardem muitas novidades nas próximas semanas e por favor, comentem a track!

Dear friends, today is a very important day for us and a milestone in our career. We already have 10 years on road, more than 150 released songs, amazing tours at Brazil and around the world. But we all know: life, to be well lived, needs to be driven by new challenges and paths.

We are proud to present the first of a series of new tracks that we have developed in the last 6 months!

Electronic music it always in constant change and we as individuals, too. We decided it was time to try other sounds and enhance our creative method, introducing new people to our process - composers, singers and engineers. We had the opportunity to work with people from every corner in the world - North America, Europe, Africa - have been a really cool experience for us.

That same passion we had 10 years ago when we were only two kids discovering a new way to live is back. We found a new sound with more complex harmonies and melodies and modern arrangements.

This first track we are presenting was done in partnership with the awesome British singer Shaz Sparks, who has had one of her tracks at the absolute top - the TOP1 at dubstep genre on Beatport and has worked with big names on EDM.

We don't care about the limiting distinction between commercial and underground. Music is music and having pleasure on what you do is essential in life!

Kill Your TV is the project of brazilian producer Fred Vieira. 

He is one of the highlights of Brazil's electronic music scene, producing official remixes for huge international artists such as Nicky Romero, Nervo and Fedde Le Grand. 

After significant releases at respectable labels like Big & Dirty Recordings, Be Yourself Music and Peak Hour Music, Kill Your TV got into Beatport's "Top#100 Chart" for 8 times, receiving support from names like Armin Van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Tocadisco, Pete Tha Zouk, Far Too Loud, FTampa, Alpharock, Joaquim Garraud and Felguk. One of his songs have been played on the legendary "Essential Mix" at BBC Radio One, a reference in the world of electronic music.

Kill Your TV is also recognized by his refined taste and perfect control of the dance-floor, resulting in invitations to perform in several major clubs in Brazil. Fred also had shows outside Brazil, playing at countries like Japan, United States and Mexico.
