Kilogram is one of many talented Hip-Hop artist from the city of Trenton, New Jersey. Born Kevin Marshall and founder of Chain of Command Entertainment; established himself as a hardcore-business savvy lyricist whose lyrical prowess dazzle hip hop aficionados from all walks of life. 

Kilogram's ability to effortlessly marry facets of his life into perfect songs is a talent few rappers possess. Kilogram’s first studio album “Nobody Believed in my Music” was release in 2009. The album featured Maino, Sparks, Gillie Da Kid, Lil Flip, Peedie Crack, Naughty By Nature, Lord of the Undergrounds, Poor Righteous Teachers, just to name a few. 
The album’s breakout hit single “Jersey”, and follow up singles, “It’s on”, and "Sometimes" were all aired on MTV Jams. Kilogram has been featured on major urban music publications and websites such as World Star Hip Hop, AllFlamerz.com, Hip-HopGame.com, The Source Magazine, XXL Magazine, Urban Vault (United Kingdom), and Hip Hop Weekly.

Kilogram received commercial and internet radio airplay on Philly’s Power 99FM, 107.9FM, Princeton University’s WPRB 103.3 FM, JahYummy.com, Philly’s Wired 96.5FM and Sirius Satellite radio. Kilogram’s music has been featured on several mix-tapes series of prominent DJ's such as DJ Kay Slay, DJ Radio, Cosmic Kev, DJ Do-It-All, DJ Lazy K, DJ Jay-Ski, MR. HYPE, DJ Absolute, and DJ Envy. 

He was nominated 2x for “Indie Music Video of the Year” a BET Hip Hop Award and has worked with and opened up shows for artist such as LiL Flip, Trey Songs, Capone, Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, Joe Buddens, Blu Cantrell, Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, Dipset, D-Block, E-ness, T.I., and Missy Elliot. 
On April 5, 2012 Kilogram's single “My Life” featuring Nino Breeze debut on BET’s 106&Park’s “New Joint of the Day”. This was Kilogram's third music video to be feature on a major satellite television network. “Move on” featuring Tiki and “Jersey” received national airplay during this period.

In an interview with XXL magazine’s [The Break] Kilogram was asked how he was going to change the game? Kilogram replied:

“Showing the world that hard work and dedication pays off at the end of the day, I have been blocked, ridiculed, ignored, and told “Jersey” does not have any good emcees…everyone says there gonna bring that missing piece to hip hop, but I just say I’m going to show the world the underdog can compete against the household names and win!”.
