Wow.. what a time at Vibes Music Festival! An extremely spectacular event with resplendent humans! 

This is my live recorded set from Saturday night, Aug 14 @ 8pm. I began my set by singing a poem called "Hexagons" by Jacob Bronowski... acapella, in a melody I made up... I was super nervous and did not exactly nail it! However, still feeling the love! Thanks to JoyOne for impeccable sound and playing the tuning forks.. 528hz & OM. This is the recording from my first of three sets at FREEZER BURN 2022! It was my first time at a large burning man event. I had an amazing time!! My other 2 sets were also recorded and will be posted soon. There's some magick that happens when recording live.. things that are difficult, if not, impossible to recreate later.. the people on the dancefloor, the vibes, the atmosphere.... it all comes together in these moments.. I'm so happy I captured the magick of the early evening here!!

AHHHHHH....  LIBERATION!! Vibes Music Festival... a resplendent gathering of unbelievably talented and gorgeous humans...held on magickal, sacred lands... lovers, friends, families and so many vibrant children showing us the way... frolicing, dancing, arting, hearting, souls inspired and luminescent. I was so overcome with community, love and all the good vibes I had a very tumultuous time driving away!! No goodbyes... never... only hello and hugs when next we meet. <3

My Sat night recording from Freezer Burn 2022 June 18th, at the Vibes stage... Mix 2!  Better shared very late than never?!  I played 145a - to about 330 amish. .. around the time when the sound warden (marshal?) 😅 asked me to turn it down 30%!? wat 😆 ...  he then asked me to shut it down in 5.. I was like "say when?" 😆  💜

There's some glitches in this recording.. I broke the stage when I accidentally mixed breaks into psytrance and back into breaks 👩‍🔧 I had a difficult act to follow with Glowing Embers dnb coming in hawt af!!  ... and my left breast decided to scratch on the platter. All in all, it's not a bad mix... not my best, but I had a awesome time and witnessed so much love out on the dancefloor!! Hope you enjoy!

Ahhh Vibes... So many moments, feelings and memories that filled my heart... Moments that stand out: A handsome being eco-glittering my DJ finger, that I happened to have been accidentally stabbed with a broken mirror the day prior (That's 20 years good luck!!) ... Sitting in circles with tasty charcuterie boards on the dancefloor, complete with cheese and  cucumber?! Things to do with nipples that cannot be spoken about publically.. IYKYK... a wonderful, creative being letting me know that she's a fan and follower...?!  Soooo many amazing tunez, parades of mythical creatures, magnificent homemade costumes, deep heart moments, bright stars, long hugs, so much dancing, giggles and laughter that made my face and belly ache with joy, live music with transcendent vocals, beautiful humans, intelligent conversation and more magical mythical creatures... did I mention beautiful and fun bass music ... creative hearts sharing their everything with everyone!!? Vibestown is my kind of town! Love love love! 

This is my set from Thursday night at 1am (technically Fri morn), closing the mainstage ... I attempted to chill it out a bit 3/4 of the way through.... This is a recreation, and I think the original set was much better!

KILONOVA @ VibesTown 2024 DJ Mix - Glitter Finger

Bass Camp, Sept 5-8, 2024! I love you! What a wonderful and wholesome way to end festival season, held on the most magical of spaces, by some of the most heart centered, humble, grounded and loving beings I've ever had the pleasure of sharing space, time, music, words, hugs and dance floors with! <3

The phrase of the weekend was "That's what she said!" IYKYK ... And I really took advantage of that 1am Sat time slot to bang that message out.. and in! <3 

I've never been stung by wasps so much! ... But damn, the weed Plantain was a godsend! Where there's a dis-ease, there's a cure... For me, the dis-ease was isolation and the cure was BASS... camping and friends (chosen family) ... being seen while seeing, loving while being loved.. so many laughs, endless dancing to endless talent... oodles of little joy bundles frolicking with their parents... magnificent, salubrious, resplendent... gratitude!!!

It filled my heart to see that full dancefloor just shaking it... thanks for all the love! Huge gratitude to all who put this event on and gave me a time slot to really shine in the glow tent decorated by my bestie and team (This Must Be The Place, Love)! Thanks also, for all the people who took the time to come and let me know how much they loved my set.. it means the world to me. Already excited for next year!

I originally called it "Way of the Unicorn".. but through a friend who likes Unicorns a lot, and wears a lot of Unicorn things, a term came up.. "Infinity Universicorns" it succinctly illustrates her multilayered, multicoloured and multifaceted Unicorn costumes, her spirit, and this track!

Grateful to be a part of such an incredible NYEE evening of glittering and glowing in Red Deer, AB @ the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame! Rich Glow delivered on a damn bright show! The tunes, vibes, decor, people, stages and spaces.. tight and bright! Props for bringing together such a diverse group of dancefloor enthusiasts from all walks of life...  ❄️

I loved experiencing such a diverse group of people united under the cause of creative expression through art, music, bass, glittering and glowing spectacles for the senses, dancing and connection! 🌈

If I was asked to sum up the entirety of my experience and how my set played out with my dancefloor in 2 words, I would say "Eclectic Electric".. which also happen to be 2 of my many favourite things! My set reflects this... often what we plan to play doesn't always fit with what's happening on the dancefloor .. It was a very original dancefloor/Dj setup having dancers in front and behind, often more behind! Both reacted a bit differently to the tunes.. I accepted the challenge and dropped an eclectic and often explicit set of tracks to cater to my audience... 🫣😅🦄

A full and happy dance floor, people cheering on a breakdown, cheering at a drop, enjoying and communicating with each other, feeling the music, feeling the beats and bass, with a well calibrated sound system present that isn't too loud that we can not only speak, but feel each other.. this is why I DJ!! IYKYK... Phew! My heart was, and still is sooooo full of... 🤔..  it's an indescribable feeling that lands somewhere between utter gratitude and absolute awe with a lot of humility... and oh so much love!! 😍🥲 this mix was a dance floor transformation...

For the first time, I've been able to properly record a mix through a pioneer mixer.. which is awesome! I recorded this on my iPad using the DJM-Rec app... Unfortunately there's no microphone recording... so on occasion, when I was speaking, I was turning down the music...

I find recording my set, captures some of the moments, the feels and vibes, the people present and everything are somewhat imprinted onto the recording... Frequencies are like that.. many are only felt... or perceived through all the senses at once, not just the ears, resulting in emotions and goosebumpy vibrations, deep connections and healing experiences...   🌈🎼🎶🎵💜
