The Wunderkammer musical project was born from the idea of ​​Salvatore Montieri, in continuous research and musical experimentation.
The desire to face different musical and instrumental dimensions, combining the classical discipline with the inspiration of jazz and rock / pop music, and the search for new sound and percussive effects creates a mixture of unique, original and magical sounds!

Wunderkammer, "chamber of wonders", is an expression belonging to the German language, used to indicate particular environments in which, from the sixteenth century to the eighteenth century, collectors used to keep collections of extraordinary objects for their intrinsic and external characteristics.
That of the Wunderkammer was a typical phenomenon of the sixteenth century, which however has its roots in the Middle Ages. It then developed throughout the seventeenth century, feeding on the Baroque grandeur and continued until the eighteenth century favored by the typical love for scientific curiosities, typical of the Enlightenment.

Long time ago during the Cold War in a small apartment in Dessau 🇩🇪
a 2 year old brother was introduced to his new baby brother, both boys were adorable with blonde hair & blue eyes.. 
one year later the older brother went by train to visit his Oma in Berlin.. 
that was the last time the brothers ever saw each other again..
the barbwire went up & the wall was enforced, forcing the 3year old brother to stay in the East while his younger brother (and Mother) made it to Aachen to live with the other Oma.. 
20years later the wall came down only boy left was the younger brother who grew up with the PolarBears in🇨🇦Canada..
he was a Diesel mechanic by trade
but he’s been writing & creating music since he was 6 years old..
I Created this song In memory of my older brother..

This is a remix of STONERJAZZ's (@user-911083679) open collaboration, A Strong Cupa Joe. The original song is no longer available on his SoundCloud page, but you can give it a listen on his BandCamp where it is featured on the album 'Half-Life'. 

Jeff had already included that trippy repeating synthy thing going on throughout the background. I added the melodic thread that evolves throughout, the chords that chime in here and there, and the experimental sound collage at the end. I've had this one ready to go for a bit, and figured it would be fun to release this week, along with our new Smoking Trout song, Assimilation, as kind of like a fun little B-side to that track. while the cat and the kitten hiss and cavort
as the darkness expires, while the coals from those fires still glow

I like to imagine it, instead of as a prompt. Visualising it with music: a guitar ("we don't need drums"), they create rhythm. Pads for the flow, synths  .. chasing a kick, a sweeping wind blowing it away.
