They twang like a jaw harp being plucked by fate itself, wiry, unpredictable, like warning shots ricocheting off brick walls 💥🎯 before retreating into the shadows, letting the strings take control again, it’s all tension and command, like a sonic war film where the lead actor is the distortion ⚔️💣 Sink’s ducked behind the soap bottles whispering "they’re coming" 🥄 Whisk’s saluting every downbeat like it’s a general, pure spin and spark discipline 🌀 and Fridge? She’s locked the freezer and drawn the blinds, too powerful, too raw, too real ❄️🔥 this one doesn’t play nice, it takes territory 🎶💪

method: recording guitar (an electromatic in an open tuning it tends to lose), voice, tube xylophone (via contact microphone) and cheap ewi (set to horn, orchestra and shakuhachi respectively) via pedals
narration: in this phase, I am to spend quite a lot of time in such areas (waiting rooms, sometimes reminding of Kafka, sometimes of Sartre, sometimes of Beckett and nearly always reminiscent of the non-places described by Augé and made famous by Eno) - what better is there to do than compose expressionist poetry (and later forget to use a phaser in the far background, not shying away, though, from making old and new impairments part of the process, as usual)?

Hi, I’m Krissie 💜 I have high-functioning autism, which I proudly call a gift, though sometimes it drags me into beautifully bonkers territory. All my life, I’ve had to hide who and what I am. I’ve never been what the world calls “normal.” As I say in 'I Don’t Write Songs "I Survive"', my brain just isn’t wired the way it should be. I’ve been called weird, not right in the head, bonkers, even crazy. So I learned to mask, to shrink, to pretend. But here… here, I get to breathe. To be.

And it’s not just the music. It’s the comments, the replies, the strange and sparkling conversations where I finally feel like I don’t have to filter myself. I can be full-volume, full-chaos, full-heart, and somehow, that’s not just accepted, it’s welcomed.

You beautiful humans (and possible aliens) have given me something I never thought I’d find, a place to be fully myself. To speak how I feel, to show what I see, and to turn it all into sound and words without shame. The way you’ve welcomed me, supported me, seen me, there are no words. (Yes, I know. Me. The Queen of Words. Speechless. Don’t get used to it.)

My heart is so full of love and gratitude, I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t burst into glitter. Thank you. All of you. From the very bottom of my shoelaces 🖤🎶🧦
