Last weekend I had the pleasure to join the celebrations for Rebellion der Träumer's 10 years birthday at Renate in Berlin.

This was nothing short of a spectacular weekend - with lovely people and amazing music for hours on end. Thanks to the packed, smiling and supportive dancefloor the three hours I was behind decks flew by (and I was super happy to get an extra hour on top of my original two!).

Loving high fives go to the friends in front row and to all the dancers, and a special thanks to those who went out of their way to give a word of appreciation after my set, both at Renate and after the event: I usually get super shy when it happens, but it means a lot.

A huge thanks to Renate for hosting the shenanigans and to the Rebellion gang for the invitation and the care - I felt right at home from beginning to end and look forward to connect with y'all next time ❤

I feel immensely grateful for the honor of closing the Organic Garden Event at Sudhaus in Basel after the incredible Jonas Fasching. This meant quite a few first times for me - but everyone was so welcoming and supportive that at some point during Jonas' set my nervousness was gone. ☺️

I hope this set is as enjoyable here as it was live! And there was no time to waste. Because of the change to summer time that night I barely had an hour...
Big hugs to the Organic Garden Crew, your trust and all the lovely People staying till the end. It means a lot to me. 💝

Bouncy, outrageous and unapologetic.

What a day that was. The grand finale after the most beautifully intense experience in the desert, including a double-rainbow and a unique sunset. So many emotions concentrated in one single set, 1.5h of absolute madness, with everything still buzzing in our heads.

This is the live recording of the set I played on Wednesday night, at Camp Why Not. Like most of my sets, totally improvised and co-created by the crowd's energy, but this was a different kind. Those who know the thoughts and feelings running through me at that moment, through the crowd, well, they just know. 

Some points in the set are over-stimulating, some messy, and others simply epic. But all of them are real.

A million THANK YOU to everyone who made this happen. You know who you are, and I am so grateful for this core memory that I will forever carry.

Dieses Set ist in einer Phase entstanden, in der ich mich nach Krankheit wieder langsam in die Wirklichkeit zurückfinde. Dabei gleich in so einem coolen und verspielten Märchenwald zu landen, in dem ihr zu meiner Mucke so viel getanzt, jongliert und geleuchtet habt, ist ein richtig schönes Geschenk!

Der Wechsel von der Isolation in meinem Bett zu so viel Menschen war zwar auch echt herausfordernd, aber ich liebs, dass ich meine Lieblingsmusik mit so vielen Süßmäusen teilen darf. Vor allem wenn der Bass so richtig rummst hihi...!

War mir eine Freude mit euch in die Nacht zu starten :') Vielen Dank für die Einladung & die wunderbare Orga!

Neinhorn-Bounce im Märchenwald (Bläsikelter 2025)

Hey everyone! Here's the recording of our DJ set at Rebellion der Träumer*'s party in Kater last weekend. We really enjoyed having 3 hours to work our way through several different styles that we're feeling right now. Sometimes a bit deeper, sometimes a bit higher energy, sometimes a bit groovier, but always with the lovely synths and vocals you have probably come to expect from us now!

We had so much fun playing this set so hope you enjoy it too! 

P.S. sorry for the excessive crunch on the filter towards the end of the set, it's way more audible in the recording than it was in the club! But hey, who doesn't enjoy a good distorted snare drum :)

Thea & Schtu @ Kater (Rebellion der Träumer*) 13.07.25

It felt very special to play on an artwork I helped build, deep in the South African desert. The sculpture—a pregnant woman lying on her back— represented a symbol of peace and unity. A place of rebirth. A space for transformation and release.

I wanted to play a downtempo set that honored that feeling. It is a compilation of some of the tracks that touched me the most since discovering downtempo in 2020 (including one of the very first downtempo track I ever danced to).

heute gibt es gute Vibes aus dem Norden denn wir haben Besuch aus Hamburg vom lieben Basti aka @bockstein. Im Midtempo geht es hier groovig-bouncig richtig schön vorwärts 💃🕺🔥

⚓ Moin Basti, wie und wann bist du zur elektronischen Musik gekommen?
Mit Anfang Zwanzig habe ich bei den ersten Veranstaltungen an den Bars gearbeitet. Als ich dann nach Hamburg gekommen bin, habe ich mich in den Sound, den Vibe und das Commitment der Leute so sehr verliebt. Ein besonderer Ort, der mir noch heute am Herzen liegt und diese Zeit geprägt hat, ist der geliebte Moloch in Hamburg. Und natürlich meine Lieblingskombo: Rutsche.

⚓ Was willst du mit deinem Sound vermitteln?
Ich möchte die Zuhörenden auf eine kleine Reise mitnehmen – mit spannenden Geschichten, Höhen und Tiefen und natürlich einem großen Finale.

⚓ Wie ist deine Herangehensweise, wenn du ein Set oder einen Podcast planst?
Für mich ist wichtig, dass die Musik neben einem guten Groove auch Höhen und Tiefen mit sich bringt. Für Podcasts habe ich mir über die letzten Jahre eine große Liste von Labels und Artists angelegt, die ich feiere, und suche mir Tracks aus, die ich in Endlosschleife hören kann. Bei Sets im Club oder auf Festivals bereite ich meist nur Anfang und Ende vor, damit ich zwischendrin auf die Stimmung und die Menschen reagieren kann.

⚓ In deinem Set steckt ein unveröffentlichter Track von dir – kannst du uns etwas über die Entstehungsgeschichte und die Inspiration dahinter erzählen?
Ich wollte einen Track machen, der die Energie und den Moment beschreibt, den wir im Kollektiv Wach leben. Unser Logo ist das Auge, daher auch die Vocals 'I See You'. Mir waren besonders ein guter Groove in der Bassline und knackige, gnarlige Synths wichtig.

⚓ Ich konnte auf deinem SC-Profil sonst keine eigenen Produktionen finden. Kommt da mehr in der Zukunft?
Ja, definitiv. Da kommt etwas im Herbst :)

⚓ Welche 3 Tracks würdest du in eine Zeitkapsel legen, damit man in 100 Jahren weiß, wie dein Sound klingt?
