My first ever track has survived a laptop flood, four months of mix stress, two dead hard drives, and against all odds, it’s finally seeing the light of day. After a year of sitting on my hard drive, it dropped the same week as a famous trance duo… with the exact same title. Perfect.

Medway Studios got my file before the Great Spill, so the track got another lease of life before dying on yet another computer. Like a soggy little water sprite with sidechaining, it just kept on swimming.

After all this survival, it’s racked up a mighty three plays on SoundCloud (two of which were me checking it worked). But I’m releasing it because it survived and the poor engineer spent ages trying to rescue it. A testament to madness, misspent money, and countless days spent asking, “why…?!” And that feels worth celebrating.
