Mechanically inspired by the intricacies of motherboard music, she operates and programs shows on KEXP radio station out of Seattle. Her weekly program “Mechanical Breakdown” provide sounds and melodies that offer a vision of hopeful doom for restless, kindhearted souls. Constantly linked on lineups with mega hitters, like Auroral Halal at the very last Honey Soundsystem in 2020 or playing peak sets at Bite Night for Phase Fatale’s label nights at Berghain, Sharlese blasts it out of the ballpark every time. Get your body into the music. Dance into the dark with submission to the beat on the longest night of the year (hello winter solstice?) as we welcome Sharlese to BB_Only!.

A longtime vinyl devotee and deep groove explorer, Olekhar is a Ukrainian-born DJ and producer now based in Toronto. Formerly known as Harris, he was a fixture of Kyiv’s club scene in the 2000s and 2010s before relocating to Canada, where he launched his own label, Afalinas Records.

His sets draw on decades of dancefloor experience, fusing '90s breaks, ambient house, and cosmic electro with nods to UK tech-funk and deep house. Recent releases include Fin Groove (2024) and Intercity EP (2025), both pressed on wax and rooted in his analog-first approach.

This mix captures Olekhar’s signature blend of nostalgic textures, forward momentum, and dolphin-coded warmth.

The Catalan prince of darkness Adrian Marth and his label Italo Moderni are one of the underground figures in the European scene mixing the darkest corners of the new avant-garde Italo/Acid/Electro. Adrian has been DJing & performing Live sets internationally in the last 5 years, at spots like Panorama Bar Berghain, HÖR radio, Nitsa, Le Sucre, Soundit, Funk, Laut, Human-Razz, Ombra Festival, Nowadays NYC, SAT Montreal. He also makes a live set where he does vocals and plays the Octatrack. The label work in Italo Moderni includes vinyl releases from The Hacker, Legowelt, Djedjotronic, Timothy J. In April, we had the honour of hosting one of the all-time greats: Intergalactic Gary. We're thrilled to finally share the recording of his set that night at Low Profile Studios, so you can relive the dancefloor magic. Over the course of two and a half hours, you'll hear Gary’s mastery in full effect as he glides through Italo deep cuts, proto-house meltdowns, space-disco voyages and much, much more.  

We’ll be returning to Low Profile Studios for another night of sonic synchromysticism on the 23rd of August, this time with Alicia Carrera and Jonah Considine.

Two of house and techno’s most-established talents collaborate on their debut release together, as Hot Creations head Jamie Jones teams up with Mood Records boss Nicole Moudaber on Pepper Shake.

Short, sweet and with no filler involved, Pepper Shake gets us underway swiftly, and the name certainly does the track justice. Up-tempo hats whistle beside a driving bassline, before a female vocal reels in and out. The styles of both artists are present throughout, with Jamie’s signature groove providing the foundation and Nicole’s deeper techno style coming through in the synths. Bubble Ride completes the release. Dark, gritty and harder-edged than its predecessor, this is a stripped-back peak-time club cut, with a penetrating bassline and hard-hitting kick patterns. The occasional pulse of an atmospheric sample further enhances the body of the track, to form something that’s built solely for the dancefloor.
