An Interlude is defined as: An Intermission, A Break, A Recess,
 or A Pause...
And that is exactly... what happens in Job Chapter 28. 
A pause from what was, and an entrance for the spectacular that is coming.
Proverbs Chapter 2 talks about the importance of Wisdom. 
Wisdom that is more precious than any priceless gemstone.
Wisdom... that ONLY comes from God. We must seek Him.
This discourse on Wisdom from Job in Chapter 28?-- Is quite excellent. 
 Structured.  Profound in its OWN wisdom OF wisdom. (we could say) Eloquent in its depth of knowledge and communication.
Jobs makes the point that mankind is able to accomplish thee most AMAZING FEATS of ingenuity using complicated technology and contraptions; figuring out seemingly IMPOSSIBLE THINGS in regards to the natural, earthly sciences... and YET?
WITHIN HIMSELF?--- He cannot even find simple WISDOM.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
God alone is perfect. The Word of the Lord is alone Perfect... Tested, tried, perfect. Stands. 
Lets study together what it MEANS... when King David proclaims with confidence-- that God "rewards David"-- according to Davids "righteousness.."

01-02 -2024 - TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY-CLEAN HANDS - PURE HEART-WICK TRIMMED-BUCKLER AND SHIELD

Good Day to you!!! We are continuing our Verse-By-Verse and Line-By-Line study through the Book of Psalm 18 today.
And, Ahhhh so many beautiful things said here:
God is King David's Salvation completely! God's right Hand ALONE holds David up. And because of the Gentleness of the Lord and His Patience with David?--- David has become GREAT! Gods Great Grace, Gentleness, Uplifting and Encouragement is JUST as Powerful in combination with His Justice, Righteousness, Holiness and Glory!
King David says in verse 36
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
Ohhh come on, this just speaks VOLUMES! 
How many have EVER taken a shaky step, not seeing TOO MUCH ground up ahead TO EVEN CALL YOUR OWN to walk forward upon... that would support you?  huh?
Ive been there.. I might be there right now! huh?-- But when you take that step in FAITH?-- Guess what? In God?--- the ground appears!  and you have a LARGE place TO PUT YOUR FOOT AND take your next step.
Step... and God will make that place secure... I can promise you that...
Verse 37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
David went AFTER EVERYTHING and EVERY enemy of God that God told him to--- He pursued EVERY force, every army, every nation, every tribe that was set to attack or DID attack the people of God to try and take them down and thwart Gods will and way--- and David won---- EVERY TIME...
He says here he "overtook" them.  And David did not stop fighting UNTIL his enemies were consumed.
Finish what you started my friend.
Remember when David slew Goliath with a sling shot and stone?--- Yes... He took Goliath down?--- But he ALSO had to bridge that great breach and then FINISHED the job with the sword.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
He finished it. He didnt leave any avenue for them to rise again and come after David and destroy Gods work and people!
Verse 39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
Again that word Girded... which we understand now means completely surrounded, protected, encircled and PREPARED for WHATEVER (say, "Whatever") lies ahead

In Yesterdays Heart to Heart?--We finished UP Psalm Chapter 19-- in which King David expressed that ... "The fear of the Lord; and the Commandments of the Lord" are? --"More to be desired  than gold;  than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb!"
Whew! David knows what is valuable... Amen?
And that BY Fearing the Lord and following His commandments?--- We are warned as to what is wicked and wrong; and TOLD what is right and good.
Amen? And IF we follow God and His ways and serve HIM?--- there IS GREAT REWARD!
Oh, we see the PERFECTION and SAFETY IN knowing God,  living for God, and obeying God.
