ABOUT KIMBERLYNICHOLE
KimberlyNichole has recently become well known as the Mistress of Madness of the wildly popular private New York night club, The Box, (owned by Simon Hammerstein, grandson of Oscar Hammerstein II). Performing in front of and being praised by industry A listers for her powerful voice, showmanship and blunt personality (Jude Law, Baz Luhrmann, Jay Z, Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio and more).

Her story didn't begin there, before The Box, KimberlyNichole was recognized in VOGUE, Seventeen Magazine and MTV UK for her sense of style, stage presence and captivating voice. An "avant-rock n roll" song stylist and songwriter, she hails from Seattle, Washington. After spreading her wings and relocating to New York City her journey went into full speed. She's performed nationally and internationally. Her mesmerizing performance style has captured the attention and support of Quincy Jones, Ashford & Simpson and fashion savant Andre Leon Talley. Talley was so impressed by Nichole that he invited her into the VOGUE office and featured her in the magazine.

KimberlyNichole's most amazing milestone has been writing and self-releasing her debut album "The Yellow Brick Journey". Music from the album has been featured on MTV, VH1, BET, LOGO, Lifetime and Showtime. She also performed music from the project on 106 and Park and on the BET 11' Music Awards for their Music Matters Campaign.  In 2012, after hearing music from the project, famed director George C Wolfe personally selected KimberlyNichole to be a featured rock performer in his film "You Are Not You", which stars Emma Watson and Hilary Swank.

KimberlyNichole continues to perform with her band and is recording new music for her album The Lonely Bones. To assist in these efforts, she is the 2012 recipient of the ASCAP Foundations "Reach Out and Touch" Award, which was established to advance the careers of promising young songwriters.

She has achieved an incredible amount of success as an unsigned artist with no agent, PR or management. Her journey is a testament to what determination, hard work and raw talent can achieve.

"Little Girl New" is a song I wrote when things felt unknown, I didn't know where my life was going and this was a song that encouraged me.  When I listen to this song I feel inspired - I feel joy ! No better time than now for some inspiration and good feels!
