Nearly a decade “behind the mix” but gaining some attention mostly in recent years. Before I became Leoht I worked under a different alias that was associated with the drum and bass community in which I had become uncomfortable and decided to explore previously undiscovered directions of music in which I discovered an even greater passion than before. 

I was born and raised in Pilsen and although I am strongly attracted by the proximity to the scene in Prague, I see it as both important and a personal challenge to contribute to local culture. I draw inspiration from the club scene not only in the Czech Republic and try to make similar experiences available to the locals. I've tried different forms, different places, but as I'm getting older I don't have the energy to take advantage of every opportunity here. And that's why I've currently settled on two places where it makes sense for me and I see it as the right direction. 

I have been involved in the MōōVEMENT bar since its very beginning and I am proudly in charge of the music program that happens regularly. My second project Eclectica has started in 2021 and is designed to get closer to a more club-like environment by creating a unique experience for each night. Musically it is focused a bit more on more experimental production, combining several artistic elements into one.

We are happy to present an active figure of the Brussels scene with the freshest installment of the Warning Mix Series. It's Aroh who brings a selection of tunes deeply rooted in the archive of the subterranean music catalogues.

Graciously, we have been given permission by our comrade, Kosmik of the Black Lodge to present a live three hour session by Traxx from Feb 2019 at the afforemention Black Lodge party in Los Angeles.

What can be said? There is Traxx and then there is everyone else. Plain and simple one of our favorite musical architects, always pushing the limits, always pushing music to the edge, unpredictable, never stagnant and always seeking what is next. Taking the past and fusing it with the present and beyond, the roots are never forgotten but expanded upon and pushed further with his unique personal style, time and again.

Piezo joins sour series this week with an exhilarating percussive workout, frantically shifting between left-field house and techno with otherworldly grooves, deep bass-lines and atmospheric breakdowns that offer brief moments of rest throughout. It's clear to hear the influence Piezo's skills as a sound designer have on the musical output and track selections - creating a fluency within the mix that is seldom achieved with the same grace. 

With previous releases coming via Idle Hands, Swamp 81, Version and Wisdom Teeth, we're looking forward to hearing more of this sought-after sound.
