This piece was inspired through introspection during my sophomore year of college, which was a ROUGH ass year for me. I was in a pretty dark place, lost some folks who were really close to me, and it seemed like I wasn’t accomplishing anything. Every day felt identical. And that’s because they were. I had a toxic daily routine that I practiced religiously until I had a good cry. 🌱 At that moment, I became aware of how I was living and acknowledged my bad habits.
I was caught up in the loop of repeating bad behaviors, time and time again. Shit drove me nuts man lol. But being aware of the situation you’re in and noticing that you have the power to make a change in the right direction is a beautiful step down the path self development.... I want you to note that “The Loop” can be social media, drugs, video games, TV, etc. i.e distractions that hinder you from becoming your greatest self. 🌟 This mantra is a WAKE-UP call, where I pick myself back up as I try to do the same for others, especially during these hard times.
