Hi, I’m Kimly, a Vietnamese American pop singer songwriter. I grew up in Anaheim, CA, am in the LGBTQ community, and have been trying to find my voice as a minority in this world. Although I’ve been songwriting for most of my life, my fears and anxieties have kept me mostly singing to my loyal bedroom walls until now. Music has been the vessel to my emotions, and I’m finally ready to share that part of myself! It’s been quite a musical journey, inconsistently playing shows in the past. My awkwardness makes it almost unbearable to face people, but I hope you’ll embrace the music, and I’ll do my best to write about my insecurities, rather than publicly displaying them through my actions.
