Today we are happy to announce Alex Bass, better known as „D33P“, as our latest member in our bartender team.  

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Alex has a broad experience in the electronic music business with releases on noteworthy labels and under various aliases (such as Colorless).  

After founding his own graphic design company and the birth of his daughter two years ago, it got quite around D33P and releases or guest sets became very rare.  

We are happy to have him back today with a declicious Jack Rose, packed with deep and techy sounds, mixed exclusively for Schirmchendrink. And we are looking forward to new D33P grooves coming up on his own imprint D33P Music.

We're delighted to welcome Greek producer Anber to Ready Mix Records for release number 224, comprising 3 original tracks plus remixes from Soire, Kiano and Kaan Koray.

Creating his own flavor of chilled electronic music with a global twist, Anber has previously released on Shango, Exotic Refreshment and Art Vibes Music among others.

Opening cut 'Charisma' combines Eastern strings and percussion with a deliberate, pulsing groove and a heavy bass-drone for satisfying musical meditation. 

Soire (aka Moe Turk) introduces a slightly Housier rhythm pattern, lush chords and a deep bass-line to 'Charisma', letting Anber's original strings provide a sumptuous, albeit distant, backdrop.

'Eikones' heads into more dramatic territory with insistent synths and a heavy kick leading the way into swirling North African atmospheres, building to a heady crescendo. 

Croatian beat-maker Kiano turns in a rolling Afro club version of 'Eikones', purring with class.

Finally, 'Karma' rounds off the package nicely with a straight-up rhythm pattern, mysterious Eastern synths and a spacious arrangement. 

Turkish brothers Kaan Koray deliver some subtle magic to 'Karma', summoning up ancient dance-floor Gods over 9 minutes of heaven.

Originaire de Strasbourg, Kimo est passionné de musique depuis l'enfance. Il démarre la pratique du saxophone à l'âge de 6 ans avant de se tourner vers le Djing en 2011. En 2019, il s'installe à Lyon avec l'ambition d'apporter quelque chose de nouveau sur la scène underground. Il rejoint ainsi le collectif Oma, lui ouvrant les portes du Groom, du Heat, du Terminal, du Bellona et du Petit Salon et lui permettant de partager l'affiche avec de grands noms tels que Sacha Braemer et Joris Delacroix. En 2024, il devient co-fondateur de Loop, un collectif techno qui organise des évènements dans la chapelle des anciennes prisons de Perrache.

Orienté autour de la techno progressive et mélodique, l'univers musical de Kimo se caractérise par des atmosphères hypnotiques, des mélodies épiques et des grooves énergiques.
