Rhythm Of The Motor

In a cyberpunk future where mankind lives in sprawling, neon-lit cities and technology have advanced beyond recognition, a strange signal is heard on the radio. It's a haunting, cryptic transmission that seems to be coming from a machine deep within the city's underbelly. The signal becomes the talk of the town, as people start to speculate about its origin and purpose. Some believe that it's a message from a rogue AI, while others think that it's a coded signal from a secret society.

As the signal becomes more persistent and more people start to hear it, a small group of tech-savvy individuals decides to investigate. They delve deep into the city's labyrinthine network of pipelines and subways, following the signal's trail. Finally, they come across a strange machine in a forgotten basement, surrounded by a tangled mess of wires and circuits.

The machine is unlike anything they have ever seen. It's ancient and yet it's clearly advanced technology. They realize that the signal is coming from this machine, and they start to investigate further. But as they delve deeper into the machine's systems, they discover that the signal is only the tip of the iceberg. There is a dark and sinister purpose behind this strange signal, and they soon find themselves caught up in a dangerous game of cat and mouse as they try to uncover the truth.

Thus, the "Phantom Edge" is born, a name that will forever be associated with the strange signal and the dangerous journey that followed.

I've finally managed to read and decode the information that is inside the crystal, you won't believe this, it's music. Apparently it is actually the binnacle of the Thunder Launcher, it tells the travels of that flying ship, unfortunately there's no record of why the ship ended torn apart in the Atlantic ocean. Also, I have found that the records were made by a sort of computer, an AI named Thiele.


This is an album I'm really happy to release, I've invited a few friends to add his magic and I really loved working with them, you're awesome guys.

About a year and a half has passed since @Zantilla's (Adrian Shegstad) Ubiktune debut album "Encounters" was out, and now we're glad to preset for you his next full-length called "Star Bride".

"Star Bride" is funk heavy tribute to Adrian's significant other. It combines early and modern funk influences into a non-stop groovin' chiptune ride. As Adrian himself says, "in other words, it's a motherfunkin' riot".

This is a little track I made one evening (and night... took about six hours total since I had to get it done before the morning) at the hotel while attending Thomann's Synth Reactor 2019 in Germany. Wondered what I could create with just this miniature FM recreation.

I used the Reface DX to lay down the sounds part by part, and section by section, since this synth has only one part. I had to use sample packs for drums (Zenhiser 80s Retro Drummer) and I allowed myself a couple of ReFX Nexus2 parts to fill in and add sprinkle here and there. The rest is all DX, some heavily processed, others straight through. A few parts were glazed in Valhalla reverb to get the thickness of it all.

Thank you to Yamaha for letting me hog this little baby for so many days. ;)
