Sentaku’s eighth instalment introduces listeners to the mythical Japanese deities who played a pivotal role in the creation of the land in a world of nothingness, Izanagi & Izanami. Through their divine union, use-birthed the islands of Japan and laid the foundation for life to flourish. Their story embodies the creative forces of nature and the duality inherent in all existence.
Louison starts with ‘Izanagi & Izanami’, a sonic journey weaving with earth-like sounds and celestial melodies, followed by “I Can Fly” taking a more progressive turn, with pulsating basslines and soaring synths. On the flipside comes ‘Reflections’, delving into darker and spookier realms while maintaining an undeniable energy, perfect for the dancefloor. Finally, he closes with ‘Tension & Passion’ slowing the tempo down to a hypnotic groove, with trance-like sounds immersing listeners in the ethereal atmosphere.

Transylvania/Budapest based label, FIKTIV returns with their second release, bringing together a diverse group of boundary-pushing artists.
X side kicks off with Charlou’s ‘Hidefaces’, a pulsating journey into the depths of acid and EBM, blending mysterious atmospheres and eerie vocals with a relentless groove.
mar.c’s ‘Wentron’ is a captivating mixture of groove-driven rhythms, atmospheric textures, raw and edgy synth layers, while the echoing vocals drift in and out.
On the Y axis, Lanzieri’s ‘Vogue’ is a gritty and dark track with a driving, acid-infused bassline, enigmatic synth lines and robotic vocal layers.
Kvrk’s ‘Haunted Illusions’ closes the EP with trippy sequences and hypnotic stabs blended with a throbbing groove, while the alien vocals add a dystopian layer to the mix.

Locked-In returns with its eighth vinyl release, showcasing the talents of DOTT in a four-track EP.

The A-side opens with "Shock FM", setting the EP's tone.  DOTT's masterful sound design is fully displayed, building tension and release through intricate percussion. The track's progression is sure to captivate dancefloors and headphone listeners alike.

"The Helper Returns" follows, diving deeper into atmospheric territory. Swirling synths intertwine with a driving bassline, evoking vast, subaqueous landscapes. The track's subtle evolution reveals new sonic details with each listen.

Flipping to the B-side, "A Bit of Dis & Dat" presents a more stripped-back approach. Its minimalist structure allows each carefully placed element to shine, from crisp hi-hats to a rumbling low-end. This is DJ material to maintain energy while adding depth to their sets.

The EP closes with "Sine Bass Runs Deep." Here, undulating rhythms and shimmering top-end create a sense of constant motion, perfect for those early morning hours when the dancefloor is locked in a collective trance.

Maazn Records unveils its inaugural release "Lost in Transit” by Guzman & Terraflow. Inspired by the breadth of London's current sounds, this record gives a taste of their vision for the future. 

The A-side features label co-founder Terraflow infusing his signature style of old-school drums and intricate synth work. "Atomic" lays down a catchy bass riff that summons an ethereal feeling of the past, whilst "Totaled Larynx" takes a hypnotic turn, embellished with haunted melodies suited to the early hours of a certain pit in Norfolk. 

Guzman takes the wheel on the B-side, starting with the punchy, sleazed-out rhythms of “Neo (Trance Mix)”, steering the EP further into the depths of the peak-time dance floor. Finally, “Time Deprivation” details clever vocal sampling atop of an arsenal of dangerous waveforms - a fitting verdict that is guaranteed to set the audience into a bass-laden frenzy. 

These are no warmup tracks, play out at your own risk.
