A long time in coming, this mix ties together a small group of artists & records which have been very influential to me over the years, and whose tracks here (mostly) would not be found on any dancefloor. Chicago by far is the biggest inspiration on my DJing: selection-wise, programming-wise, skill-wise. I've been a collage artist since high school and with my recent transition to vinyl, the technique really lends itself to my mixing. I got into electronic music as a dancer, and I'm now expanding past the four on the floor pattern I've focused on for many years.
