It's hard to believe that it will be exactly two years ago since we launched our beloved label. It really has flown by in the blink of an eye. And so, to mark the occasion of 24 successful months in business, we bring you release number 24. You could call it OCD behaviour but we like to think of it as symmetry ;-)

Step forward Mr Jaap Ligthart, a Dutchman who has been on our radar for some time now with a number of fantastic edits and reworkings but is now making the natural transition into original productions. Together with Ms. Alice Rose, a vocalist who's pass credits include guesting on tracks for the likes of Gabriel Ananda and Eagles & Butterflies, they've created something rather special. 

‘I Know Change’ is a sensuous piece of work. Deep House in the very real sense of the phrase. 
And that is something that our remixers on this project have truly understood. Both Him Self Her and Show-B have delivered exquisite interpretations that give the whole package an overriding sense of class and quality. 

Him Self Her keep things deep and moody with a restrained, atmospheric, sophisticated piece of work, whilst Show-B heads into slightly tougher territory encapsulated by some distinctive rollercoaster percussion effects that have already seen Ame, Dixon, Sasha, Mano Le Tough & Adratique showing their support. And if all that wasn’t enough, they both deliver vocal free dubs too! 

So then, just to recap, it’s hotter than Megan Fox in Agent Provocateur and cooler than a Polar Bear’s toenails. What’s not to like?

Kindisch warmly welcomes In Colour to the tribe with his beautifully crafted EP, Unfold. ‘Surfacing’ peels the EP open with a tech-house flavor. Introducing the track with a bare kick and a bass drop, the subs grab hold and the groove takes shape. The track rises inconspicuously as the vocal bits creep around the edges and sink us into a sweet bliss. From here he plays with our emotions, drifting along his personal soundscape, seducing us to surrender; and absolutely effective. The title track delivers a wonderfully crunchy blend of organics in rhythm. Soon enough, he’s caught us off guard and exceeded our anticipations. I always get the best result when i rework musician/friend i really love...
No exception here, even if that one took me a looooong way to be finished properly. Even started to play the Fender bass to achieve it.
Kalabrese & Rumpelorchester gets my deepest admiration, he's such a don a unique and tasteful musician. Remixing "Is this" was something i really wanted, so i asked him. Long life to Rumpelmusig & the Rumpelorchester and thanks Jimi for the vision on the final edit.

@jamesanjunadeep and @jodywisternoff present the 'Anjunadeep 10 Remix Sampler' - a double cut featuring their own reinterpretations of Tomas Barfod’s ’Things That Matter’ and Jani R’s ‘Autumn Feathers’.

In their ‘Things That Matter’ remix, James and Jody weave the vocals of Louise & Sharin Foo through a warm melodic arrangement reminiscent of the uplifting house sound of the 2000s, whilst their take on ‘Autumn Feathers’ features a slightly more minimalistic sound with an orchestral influence.
