June marks the beginning of two very sentimental journeys for us. 
Not only did we start throwing our beloved Burning Sun Terrace Party in June, but it also marks the 1 year anniversary of Sunny Side Up.

Last weekend, we celebrated this occasion by streaming 5 hours of music from 5 different cities. Our featured DJ on this episode, Christian Voldstad, was a part of this amazing line-up and he kicked off the event with this dreamy, smooth set from New York.

Whenever Ben Pundole requests my presence for the opening for one of his new ventures, I pack my bags and show up in high spirits. 

This time it was for the opening of the new 'The Wilde' members clubs in Milano and the after-show celebration of the concert of our dear and beautiful-hearted friend Ry X. An evening of legends in the intimate club house of Milan's newest treasure ; The Wilde.

The musical briefing was "loungey cocktails sexy vibes like your soul", this is my interpretation of that. Thank you Ben, Lauren, Ry and everyone who made this night memorable.

REX GOSKE, the Colombian Producer and DJ, continues experimenting with sounds from different cultures, this time under an atmosphere of traveling through the Middle East. Inspired and protected by faith in angels and archangels, he presents “MIKHAEL”, a sonic tribute to the Archangel Mikhael (eastern name) or Michael (For Spanish speakers), who is known for his strength, courage and leadership. He is often depicted as a warrior, protector, and champion of justice, wielding powers such as invulnerability, super strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate light and fire.

This “track” represents that dominant force over darkness, a mostly instrumental track that contains Arabic chants that turn it into a mystical sound journey, with a lot of power for the dance floor, strong bass and “acid house” lines, supported by percussion and sounds of strings and ethnic winds. It was mixed by REX GOSKE in his Covenant studio and masterfully mastered by the renowned Grammy-winning Colombian engineer: FELIPE LÓPEZ at OndaSelecta Studio.

After his successful recording career in electronic music, signing his previous works with prestigious labels such as: Bias Beach, Sol Selectas, Stellar Fountain, Soundteller, NYLO and Soviett Records, sharing a catalog with renowned international artists; REX GOSKE returns to digital platforms to present "MIKHAEL" under the Serbian record label TIBETANIA RITUALS with whom he had already released the EP “Santa Muerte”.

This release continues to consolidate the producer with a homogeneous and unique sound that grows his catalog with a view to enhancing his projection and international tours in his DJ Set and Live Act format.

Inspirado y protegido bajo la fe en los ángeles y arcángeles, presenta “MIKHAEL”, un tributo sonoro al Arcángel Mikhael (nombre oriental) o Miguel (Para los Hispano hablantes), el cual es conocido por su fuerza, coraje y liderazgo. A menudo se le representa como un guerrero, un protector y un campeón de la justicia, ejerciendo poderes como la invulnerabilidad, la superfuerza, la velocidad y la capacidad de manipular la luz y el fuego.

Este “track” representa esa fuerza dominante sobre la oscuridad, una pista instrumental en su mayoría, que contiene cantos árabes que la convierten en un viaje sonoro místico, con mucho poder para la pista de baile, bajos contundentes y líneas de “acid house”, soportado por percusiones y sonidos de cuerdas y vientos étnicos. Fue mezclado por REX GOSKE en su studio Covenant y masterizado magistralmente por el reconocido  ingeniero colombiano ganador de Grammy: FELIPE LÓPEZ en OndaSelecta Studio.

Anyone who visits our soundcloud page can find – besides the weird name, obviously – some 60 podcasts by the most diverse musicians, recorded specifically for Rambalkoshe. And only after roaming about the page for some time do they start to realize that the covers on mixes are somehow interconnected. While some just leave it at that, others discover the link below the sets and learn more about the project and the connection between the music and the covers there. A third group, meanwhile, know everything there is to know as they have visited Rambalkoshe and seen the “red room” first hand. 

In fact, even we are unable to understand what’s what, and everything kind of looks like a very long passageway which has to have some ending somewhere but no one knows where exactly. And the only thing that helps us move is the people who believe in us, and the itch that’s pushing us to stand up after falling down and keep going, a feeling whispering in our ears to never stop. @elifmusique is one of those people who, like lanterns, light up the road ahead and behind, so that when in despair, we can always turn back and see how far we’ve gone. Thank you.
