Kindisch Announces Release of "On The Way To Wonderland" EP by Modd and Metanoya.

Esteemed electronic music label Kindisch proudly presents the latest addition to its catalog, the highly anticipated two-track EP titled "On The Way To Wonderland" by celebrated organic house artists Modd and Metanoya. The EP is set to captivate listeners with its ethereal soundscapes and meticulously crafted grooves, marking a significant milestone for both artists.

Modd has become a prominent figure in the organic house scene, with an impressive track record of global performances. As a resident at Miami's Do Not Sit On The Furniture and Ibiza's Pareidolia, Modd has also established himself as a key player in the electronic music community. He is the visionary behind the labels Something Special and Amulanga, and his releases have been featured on top-tier labels such as All Day I Dream & Anjunadeep. Metanoya is a fresh and exciting name with forthcoming releases on prestigious labels like Anjunadeep and Storytellers.

The EP offers a mesmerizing journey through sound, beginning with the titular track, "On The Way To Wonderland." This piece introduces a soft groove layered with subtle percussion, creating a serene rhythmic foundation. Clubsonica Records opens the summer season by unveiling the sixth edition of their popular Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, an extensive of sorts to the imprint’s MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels, Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their sixth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most diverse volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): Armandhe, Derk, Nico Serjanovich, FJL, Golan Zocher, Liam Sieker, Nicolas Viana, Rocio Portillo, Karim Sar Sar and Valley (AR). 

Getting the release underway is Armandhe. Releases courtesy of Balkan Connection, Droid9, Movement Recordings and Sprout, amongst others, have been instrumental in establishing the Medellín resident. With 2023 being highlighted by a contribution to Movement’s ‘Exploring Colombia’ collection, Armandhe now returns to Clubsonica with the deep, charming sounds of ‘Encontro’, a track which serves as his first production of 2024. 

The collection’s first collaboration finds Derk, FJL and Nico Serjanovich combining their extensive forces on ‘Trix’. Although relatively early into their production journey, the trio’s joint discography is already enviable, highlighted by releases via Droid9, Higher States, Mango Alley, Sound Avenue and Transensations, while genre trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast with support. Now, in what is a first time collaboration, Derk, FJL and Nico all make their Clubsonica debut with the hypnotic vibes of ‘Trix’. 

Selection three finds Clubsonica stalwart Golan Zocher and label debutant Liam Sieker also collaborating on ‘Incandescent’. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre's elite, earning play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Meanwhile, Australian artist Liam Sieker has been a fixture of his country's nightlife for the better part of a decade. Liam has found a home on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Golan and Liam present their debut collaboration ‘Incandescent’, a track which sits as one of the most mesmerizing and deeply emotional creations of their respective careers. 

Selection four finds Nicolas Viana returning to the label for his first original offering ‘Fever’. On the strength of a contribution to One Of A Kind's 'Melody Masters Exclusive' collection, Nicolas would go on to record projects for Amulanga, Flug Lab, Melody Of The Soul, Nordic Voyage, Or Two Strangers and Peace Symphonies, while electronic music tastemakers Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo and Sabo, amongst others have all championed his work. With Nicolas’ Clubsonica debut coming earlier this month with a remix of ‘Unfaithful’ by Claudiu Adam, the Tucuman resident now returns to the label with the groovy progressive sounds of ‘Fever’. 

The release concludes with Rocio Portillo, Karim Sar Sar, Valley (AR) with ‘Rise’. Released in October, their 'Ananda' EP for Madloch's 3rd Avenue caught the attention of organic and progressive house DJs alike, in turn making them a trio to watch going forward. Now, adding Clubsonica to their resume, Rocio, Karim and Valley (AR) continue their creative partnership with the mystical sounds of ‘Rise’, a track which puts a resounding stamp on another diverse and well curated edition of Clubsonica’s beloved Sampler Series.

The duo Modd takes us on another enchanted journey through their universe with their three tracker ‘Neruda’.

The title track sets the scene with a bed of warm pads and soothing atmospheres driven by steady percussion, giving off just the right amount of heat.

‘Nun’ turns the tension up a bit with slightly uneasy synth swells set against laughingly beautiful vocals to create a truly diverse experience with ups and downs throughout.

Finally, the duo gives us the most dancefloor friendly of the three, while still maintaining that after-hour glow of softened edges and good uplifting vibes. The track follows the lead set by its siblings, a steady and driving percussion full of small surprises and nuances set against a rich tapestry of sound and emotion, and just as elegantly executed as those before it.
