Bleep are proud to present an hour of music courtesy of @facta - co-founder of the excellent @wisdomteeth-uk alongside K-Lone operating with a unique and nuanced take on the outer fringes of the UK electronic music spectrum. This mix moves through select cuts of colourful synthesiser ambience, into dubby strands (a track from Jan Jelinek’s Gramm project mixed into rising Well Street artist Loop LF makes for a particularly skilful blend) before taking us through tripped out slow house, deeper club gear and downtempo boogie. ‘Blush’, an autonomic-esque cut from Facta’s recent album of the same name, is a late highlight.

Influences: 
The music I play is usually influenced by the seasons; happier playful sounds in warmer months, intense moody sounds in cooler months.  This mix is a particularly moody mix of atmospheric drum and bass, EBM and techno taking inspiration from artists such as Patrick Russell, Forest Drive West and Pessimist.  I also find myself using a lot of atmospheric noise to create abstract movie-like soundtracks taking inspiration from Rrose and Paleman; this particular movie soundtrack is a fictitious bleak sci-fi horror.  I also usually try to avoid playing music with 4x4 kick patterns.  

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: 
My main affiliation/project right now is PPRZ Records, a Vancouver BC based record label and podcast series I run with DJ Hockey.  I also curated for 'Afrofuturism is NOW' (a label to showcase some of my favourite POC artists) and I currently sit on the board of directors for Active Passive who host 'experimental/ambient' shows/festivals on Galiano Island, BC.  I don't have any specific club residencies, but I play most regularly at Dolly, one of my favourite venues in Vancouver.

DJ Eft is a terrestrial amphibian with roots in NJ & Philadelphia. The now Portland based DJ, producer, designer, animator, & "World Healer" has spent time slinking through the mycelial forest duff, sampling the sounds and flavors of the PNW old growth and ocean. Eft is a natural farmer with a strong connection to the cycles of nature and makes contact with the spirits regularly which guide his ethereal selections in ambient, hypnotic techno, dub techno, trance infused tech-house, 4th world, and experimental IDM. 

I first met DJ EFT, also known as Mugwert at Aqua Lucidity, a festival on the sunshine coast last year. I awoke in my tent the Saturday morning after a heavy session to amazing selections I initially thought were coming from the main and only stage. Instantly drawn to the post night early morning DMT energy coming out of his portable mini rig - we became friends. 

I later in the summer travelled down to Canyon Vibrations in Oregon to watch EFT play the downtempo stage where I entered into another realm from his selections. 

Anyway stoked to have the homie on the Inc.ternational series where we're searching far and wide for those off kilter and beautiful moments in music out of the mundane and formulaic. 

EFT has delivered a Weirdos inc. Mix for sure and i'm sure you'll enjoy!
