At the time, i was working as a stonemason/landscaper..we had a string of traumatised guys, fresh from Iraq, mostly para's,come work with us, telling us stories, and we in turn did our best to listen and sympathise. I feel no glory in war, as they say 'war is a continuation of politics by other means' wickid-evil politics!.It left me with a sympathy for the ordinary men and women caught up in this, and a loathing for glamorising it. And all the lies don't help either.
