Born & Raised in the Town of Windsor, North Bay, California. Horchata The Choppa (Formerly Jesse J) started writing poetry at age 8. Developed his skills and began telling stories and emotions about his life through music. He was first discovered by Tim "Milkman" Murph at a party who helped push Horchata further by recording some of his earliest songs. Horchata then met RudyG of RG Recordings who taught him the ins and outs of the Industry, whom Horchata gives credit for polishing him into the artist he is today. Aside from Music, Horchata The Choppa has been a chef for several years and has helped with many restaurant startups. When he is not working or writing music, he loves spending time with his 4-year-old son​
