Chris Mager, UK producer known as Kurus, from Surrey, currently living in Nottingham. He's come on most listeners' radar this year when he released some collaborations with up and coming artists. His work with vocalists such as Madson Project has everyone asking for more. Without question he's one of our most talented musicians and we expect big things from this artist.

Kurus's music is a concoction of sad, floaty melodies that sit on top of deep, after-hours basslines. Titled "Dreams", this artist's second EP features 4 productions channeling the vibe of his musical universe, with crisp kick drums, punchy snare hits, and floaty atmospherics emulating. The producer carres' the essence of the original composition into uncharted territory with finesse, evident in his tracks, like his excellent track produced with Too Much. His unique design of blending electronic ambience with elements of hypnotic instrumentals creates a perfect vibe of hip hop beats and chilled out sounds.

Including perfect collaborations with talented vocalists like YudN, Beth Duck and DREEZE, this album is an array of ambient melodies and captivating vocals, which is about keeping the soul and hip-hop's roots true and paying homage to the ones that helped start it. From start to finish, amazing singers creates precise, smoothly woven stories of love and struggle in all phases maintained by Kurus's laid back production and steady rhythms.

"This EP has been my most time consuming work, starting in July, creating loads of different tracks and considering loads of different sounds, but ultimately finishing with these 4 tracks, 6 months later, that I am very happy with. It’s been difficult finding the time as music is really just a hobby for me, but Im so thankful its finally all come together.I wanted a hip hop / r&b / electronic feel and think I have achieved this. I can say that this EP truly represents my sound, but I take inspiration every day from hundreds of artists that I listen to every day. Of course this wouldn’t be anything without the insane talent that is featured on the EP, from friends I know personally to vocalists and producers from the other side of the world, I am happy to give you: “Dreams”." - Kurus
