This 2XLP album, EUROPA, is dedicated to and inspired by events in 2015 & 2016, which saw the spectre of global crisis come knocking at Europe’s doorstep. During this time, more than a million migrants and refugees fled their homes in the Middle East, Northern Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and other conflict ravaged areas in search of a better life. For many, hopes of a future for themselves and their families lay in continental Europe.
As already said about the preceding 12” single with the same name - One of the most well-trodden paths on this journey was the Balkan route, a trail leading through Turkey, Greece, and the former Yugoslavia.. This route was not without its dangers, and the dreams of thousands upon thousands were dashed by impassible security fences and discordant EU politics, as one by one they were turned away at borders, or worse, forcibly returned to their countries of origin.
 
Europa was recorded during long jam sessions in Belgrade as the media spotlight started to dim. The city became the purgatorial destination for a large number of migrants, whose journeys had been cut short.

This EP boasts all original material from a Romanian producer with a passion for intoxicating electronics, slow grooves and mind-altering concept albums. The six tracks here are split into two distinct camps. On the A-side, the AM crew has gathered together some of his most atmospheric chuggers, including the doomy, Section 25-influenced weirdness of "Articulat" and the bustling psychedelic trip that is "Mean Machine". The flipside is a little less tightly focused but no less impressive, with the warbling operatic vocals, head-nodding percussive hypnotism and late night ambient textures of "Love Affair" standing out.

Cape Perpetua is a thing of beauty.

Sordid Sound System has taken his unique, raw, dub-infused sonic vision to a new level. With 'Cape Perpetua' we travel dem spaceways to a place that seems to grow more beautiful by the second; a textured, melodic, blissful interplanetary landscape where further words fail. From here Sascha Funke manages to take the controls and steer the mission on a futuristic space odyssey that's as urgent as it is blissful. Faint background signals of the original remain but are violently ejected from the airlock by the most synthetic, syncopated sounds the human ear has ever been exposed to. Flip over and we're straight into 'It's About Time'. This one is equally high octane ..... but this time of the afro-tinted psychedelic surf punk variety. If you aren't dancing to this you're probably dead. No rest for the wicked, however....because before we manage to get our precise bearings and a firm grasp of what just happened the acid techno space rock of 'Pneumonia Gulch' kicks in and takes us to places Hawkwind could only have dreamed of. Respite soon follows when the seductive voice of Eva Geist transports us to yet another beautiful paradise. Slowly it dawns on us that we're now in a dimension elsewhere entirely. Mind boggling. Nothing comes close. If you were to take a cockatil of mandrake, opium, LSD, ecstasy and a variety of amphetamines in the company of the heavenly host, the cosmic machine elves and a group of your best human friends with access to every instrument you ever wanted you would only know the half of it. This takes a very twisted, talented, mystic mind to come up with. I'm sure of it.

Let's open the doors to a whole new world.

A new world where the bastard love child of Tangerine Dream, Hardfloor, Sun Ra and The Gun Club rules supreme.

Kompleks or Lüle aka Bojan Gajic is present on club scene since 1999. As a DJ,
producer, live act, one-man show, the duo, radio host...

Currently, he is working under alias Kompleks, a project created back in
2007, alongside Nebojša Bogdanovic (Schwabe). They are known for
their edits, as well as live performances.
A few years ago, Schwabe "step out" from the project, so now is Kompleks = Lüle.
So far, Kompleks released 13 vinyls, and a large number of digital releases.

Among a lot of ex-Yugoslavian edits, releases for The Very Polish Cut-Outs and Good Plus record label, he is very proud of the collaboration with Theo Parrish, later released on Far Out Recordings as limited edition "12” vinyl.
