This song is special to me. I used to sit and listen to my Grandma's cassette tape every morning. I used to show her songs I had written and recording I had on this small recorder. If only she could hear me now. 

Before I got into creating beats I would sit and analyze my favorite songs. I realized a lot of our music today is mirrored, copied, and sampled versions of the classics, and it was the classic samples that were drawling me in. the same thing about Grandma's music that was drawling me in. So I went to work.

I wrote this song back in March of 2019. and after creating the beat I first recorded it in April of 2019. I did release it on soundcloud for a year as a part of 'Faded to the Moon and Back', an album I lated removed. Recently, I decided to pull it back up and mess with the levels. I'm sure it's nothing close to perfect but nevertheless.
