Rey&Kjavik is back on his home label RKJVK with a fresh new EP 'Charu Esha' featuring two tracks of his trademark deep and moving electronica.

Charu (Release: June 16th, 2023)has vast rubbery kicks with plenty of bounce. They are overlaid with a mix of lush cosmic chords and more tense and taught synth sequences that take you higher. It's an atmospheric and futuristic sound packed with great detail and emotion. Esha(Release: June 30th, 2023) is another smooth mix of warped bass and spaced out synth work that has you looking to the stars. Subtle vocals are smeared into the mix for an extra touch of soul as this chunky and cavernous cut rolls on.

Rey&Kjavik had a great year 2017, not only with the release of his debut album „Rkadash“. His remix for Tunisian world music duo YUMA occupied the Beatport charts for months and took the world (music scene) by storm. Rey & Kjavik’s treatment for Swiss singer / songwriter Danit could follow in those footsteps, as he treats the musical piece with respect and adds the right portion to bring it to another level... another proof, that the German producer and DJ has clearly found his trademark sound!
Danit is a Swiss singer songwriter, whose music is an expression of gratitude for life and nature. Cuatro Vientos, speaks of four winds that come from the mountains, the ocean, the desert and the forest; each one bringing its unique quality.

Daniel Riddle started recording, performing and producing music under the name King Black Acid from a very early age. The first set of bedroom studio recordings were released in the late 1980's. Each album is a different sound and often different musicians joining him in the studio and on the stage. King Black Acid has made music for: The Mothman Prophecies motion picture soundtrack, UnderWorld III Rise Of The Lycans, CSI Miami, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, MTV's Road Rules and The Real World, Dream With Fishes, Do Me A Favor, WitchBlade, CNN Sports, Highway and many other tv shows, films and extreme sports videos. When he is not working under the name King Black Acid, Daniel is recording, writing and producing music for film and television in his Mazinga Studio. Daniel also records and produces quite a few bands and solo artists. Daniel has played in bands with such musicians as John Taylor from Duran Duran, Martin Atkins from PIL, Killing Joke, NIN. Daniel has shared the stage with such acts as: Nirvana, Elliott Smith, Low, Pigface, Gwar, Caspar Brotzmann, Danzig, Faith No More, Spectrum, Moby and many others. 

King Black Acid is currently working on a new album with a radically different sound that ventures deep into the dream life of each song.
