Another track inspired by Asimov's Foundation trilogy. 
Arcadia: 14 years old, infuriatingly single-minded, impulsive and a stowaway. Cool character.
The artwork is from Pinterest; unfortunately, I couldn't find a credit.
I played the lead guitar parts on a PRS Santana Custom. The heavier backing is a Fender Jazz Bass through a modern amp.

For this tune, I used three minor Pentatonic scales, D minor, A minor, and E minor. The time signature is  12/8 and the instruments are a Fender Fretless Jazz bass, a PRS guitar with a Fishman midi pickup, a Yamaha piano, and my  Sonor Drums that I turn into electronic Drums myself. I hope you guys enjoy it!

This song began with Artur composing the entire skeleton, and recording it against a mechanical beat. He presented it to Josh, who immediately shared it with The Eclectic Collective. Ken first replaced the metronomic beat with a real, rocking drum sound. Josh promptly added his fretless bass to it, to complete the rhythm section. Soon after, JJ added his electric piano magic, including a short solo, to the stew. Once the rhythmic framework was laid down, Stephen got to work on the choruses, coming up with solid, melodic lines for them. Then, it was Tez's turn to light up the verses with his monster guitar. When we had it mostly completed, Artur asked JJ if he'd do an intro to it. JJ came up with the whole psychedelic intro in response. 
  When it was finished, we asked Stephen if he would mix it for us, which he did with his typical mastery and attention to detail. We all really enjoy making music with Artur, and have been fans of and collaborators with him for almost a year now. If you like the sound of this song, you would do well to go check out his page, too, as he has a bunch of gems on there. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

When the vessel's wickerwork was lost, and swollen the ship. 
Joke hitting deep in the world, the bet that this painting 
Goes out alone, after the time wasted 
In the inaccurate silence, taking dogs or fish. 
Conflicts that generate on the ice of the night, 
The tongue, flavors, straight to the old subject.

And (to touch the wounds) proceeds, 
Keeping a hidden treasure in the face of everything.

Delayed irritably, seeking restless ships 
In the ports without sea, the traveler is that 
Who was surprised by colors. Waits for it in the way, 
Before whom you say sea-wolf, and pushes a ship 
Through the city… crossing the streets of stone, tired.

Aimlessly realizes that you retain seawater in your eyes, 
As walks, emulating images of fish and what they can do; 
Or more waves in your arms, or fast waves in the wind, 
A trip that makes in the dispensable ships of being, 
Nor do you know if it comes to forest with everything again, 
Or at least it seems a hero, 
The habit of walking, looking for revolted seas, 
A trip that makes in the disasters of the ships, who imagines.

Simply guiding in the air, differently there is only the ground, 
In its gestures, oblivious: distant country in the window, 
So it is, while you don't even want to go back. 
Where to reach your armed, not to reach the mistake, 
Know what is the sea and live as it lives (and knows you live) 
In the sea of sand of the Sahara; put in the air 
Restless stone ships in some listed province…

But back to the words on the table, in the book with open page: 
That, sad, the world is real on this page now 
(Good if it could be a wrong page); endless silence, 
It's the last sentence and in a few steps, ready (and free) 
A man himself. Himself.
