Changed From Within

I wrote this song as a reminder that we often overlook the fact that God blesses us even when we don't see it.  Unseen blessings reminds us that God is working in our lives even if we can't see the results, at least not yet.  The cancer cells you never knew you had are gone.  The delay leaving your home causing you to be late to an appointment saved your life, yet you don't even know it.  And the greatest blessing not yet seen, our soul immortal and living for eternity.  Remember, God always works in the lives of His children.

I need to forgive others, offending me,
If I don’t you won’t forgive, see,
A condition that helps to tame our hearts,
And realise where reconciliation starts,
We often can love but are seldomly given,
to humble ourselves and make those forgiven.
Forgiveness is lacking in everyday life,
It’s so fundamental to challenging strife.
