Writer/Producer Nashon Duffey also known as King was born in Los Angeles California.  At the age of 12 he began taking piano lessons with Jaunice Preston.  During his lessons his father bought him a drum machine in order to keep timing, which is when he found out that he had a knack for drum programming.  After high school he enrolled in Los Angeles Recording School where he received a degree in Music Engineering.  During his enrollment at Los Angeles Recording School he briefly interned as a drum programmer/producer for Richard Wolf, Sound Lab in North Hollywood CA. Where he Paired with Richard Wolfe in the production of Parlay 2001 featuring Coolio, and Ricky Bell of New Edition/BBD.  He continued to produce music for various artists such as The Twinz, under Warren G’s G-Funk label, and E. White under Snoop Doggs Label Doggy Style as well as numerous artists throughout Los Angeles, CA.

Producer King has been noted as a muti-faceted composer by crossing the lines of music genres. He has a unique style of production which he uses heavy percussions & beautiful melodies over hard hitting drum lines. King plays the bass guitar for several Rhythm & Blues and Jazz groups in the Los Angeles area.  He currently has made productions for Television shows such Khloe & Lamar & Americas Next Top Model.
