"K.I.N.G., Pt. 2: Rude Awakening" is the long-awaited sequel to "K.I.N.G., Pt. 1: No Self Control" released back in August of 2020. K.I.N.G. is an acronym for Kid In Need of Guidance, and is a trilogy project. What "Rude Awakening" means to me is proving to those who doubt you wrong. Even in the face of difficult times. It's about being able to still overcome all the obstacles life throws your way, pushing through to get to that finish line no matter what. It's about being vulnerable and experimenting with different sounds and melodies. It's about all of these things and I hope you find a song or two that resonates with you.
