KING KUAN_ ETHER FREESTYLE

Born in California and raised in Baltimore, MD. King Kuan was influenced by the likes of Big Pun, Big L, Nas, Wu Tang Clan and a few others.  His clear delivery and intense sound quickly separated him from his rap peers and has allowed him to stand apart from today’s typical Hip Hop trends and short lived gimmicks.  King Kuan’s ethnicity is half Caucasian and Asian which has created a tremendous shock value for when listeners finally put a face to the author behind the manuscript.   When asked what makes him different from the average rapper Kuan stated “The first thing is obvious, the race card. It gives me extra ammo to take my writing process more serious. I also honestly feel that no one can match my tenacity when I pick up a pen; NOBODY!

To date King Kuan has been featured on countless mixtapes, blogs and websites. His most notable appearance was hosted on www.worldstarhiphop.com for “The Baltimore’s Best Live Cypher” which reached over 40k views.  As a result, King Kuan was recently signed to a national digital distribution deal to Bmore Records. 

Kuan is currently recording songs for his 1st commercial project entitled “The Elephant In The Room” which encompasses witty, yet very aggressive and controversial lyricism and is sure to create a national buzz on impact.  “My long term goal is to use music to find a safe and creative release to my stress and everyday troubles.  To be totally honest I consider myself one of the greatest lyricists of my time.  I have no competition. I compete against myself daily to be better than I am currently” said Kuan.
