The Hip-Hop community suffered a severe blow last month with the passing of Sean Price.  His accomplishments are too many to name here, but his loss will be felt now that he is gone.  P stood for authenticity in his music.  Inspired by P's artistry BP (Wu-Affiliate Producer) and Joe Buck (best known for the De La Soul is Dead cover) have teamed up to bring you their tribute "Forever P".  This dedication to the late great Sean Price is a melody of Sean Price verses over BP's gritty production with artwork supplied by the world renown Joe Buck. Unfortunately, Hip-Hop has lost another legend but he will be remembered through his unique music.  Forever P.

Canadian born (and a Toronto resident), MoSS may be a new name to some in the music game, but his production credits are instantly recognizable and have resulted in over 2 million record sales worldwide. Ghostface Killah’s smash hit “Kilos”, Raekwon’s ”Have Mercy”, Obie Trice’s entire Special Reserve album and most recently a collaborative album with Eternia (At Last which was released on Fatbeats).

MoSS got his first taste of notoriety by working with Obie Trice (Shady Records) around 2000. Moss was producing records for Obie, including both his independent singles ”Well Known” and the 12” “Mr. Trice,” which created the buzz that eventually led to Obie’s major label deal. Since then, MoSS has produced for a long list of “who’s who” in the hip hop world, including: Joell Ortiz, Ghostface, Papoose, Peedi Crack, The Game, Slum Village, Boot Camp Clik, Red Cafe, Mr Easy, AZ, Bounty Killa, D-Block (Styles P and Sheek Louch), Termanology, Big Shug, M.O.P., Kool G. Rap, Ras Kass, Omilio Sparks, Proof of D12 and the list goes on.

A former member of DJ Premier’s production label, “Works of Mart”, as Premier’s first ever production signee, MoSS is not only an emcee’s producer, but a producer’s producer as well. Recognized by an elite group in his field, he is known by many as a true “record digger.” Having assisted on price guides, rare record books and various musical anthologies, MoSS eventually started his own reissue label, Strawberry Rain, which specializes in re-releasing rare psychedelic music from around the world, including countries like Indonesia, Iran, France; and even Zambia where he travelled to find records and artists. Strawberry Rain has gained recognition across the globe and has been singled-out by a veritable slew of major media publications.

Long Island producer BP delivers an equally slick and grimy new lyric video for “This Is Easy,” a gully, NYC-as-f*ck track featuring East Coast stalwarts Nature, Royal Flush, and Prodigy. 

Given their respective rap pedigrees, these three are bound to body any track they appear on—but together? “This Is Easy” is a prime example of why heads still look to Queens cats to provide gritty, uncompromising Boom bap. But it’s made that much more potent when driven through the sonic lens of BP, whose beat hits like a well-placed slap upside the head.

The raw production comes as no surprise to those who have heard BP’s previous collaborations with the likes of Killah Priest, Diabolic, Shyheim, and 9th Prince, among others. “This Is Easy” stems from the recently released ‘Target Practice,’ a Nature album produced entirely by BP and fueled by Hip-Hop made for mean mugs and head nods. Among DOOM’s most successful projects both critically and commercially, the album was inspired by Cartoon Network’s late-night Adult Swim programming slate, and includes appearances from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Space Ghost, Harvey Birdman, and more, plus guest spots from Talib Kweli, Ghostface Killah, and Cee Lo Green. 

Now, DOOM is proud to announce a deluxe CD + 3xLP vinyl reissue of "The Mouse And The Mask" courtesy of his own label METALFACE Records.  This edition also includes the 7-track 2006 DANGERDOOM digital-only EP Occult Hymn (remastered, with high-quality audio for the first time ever), as well as two previously unreleased tracks, including this track featuring Black Thought.

Adrian sent me the album early and I made this beat. Tragedy was originally gonna lay down one verse on this on some freestyle sh*t, but once I started hearing his bars I refused to let this be a one verse song! Three verses later and appropriate hook by Slap aka Fizzy Womack aka Lil Fame we have the "Stand Up" remix. Tragedy will have an alternate version of this song on his upcoming album as well. Now please enjoy the final leak from Newport Authority 2!"

started dj-ing in the 80's playin hip hop, funk etc in local & small venues. around 1987 hooked up with rapper MC mystyle who had some commercial exposure through the bbc. In the late 80's became heavily involved with the rave scene.

 In 1991 hooked with his homie persian prince(persian dubplates/same people) to form the record label Haul n Pull Rekords with the 1st release "Gorgon wise EP" reachin no.6 in the NME drum n bass chart and being played at the launch party of surburban base records. In the late 90's started mixin drum n bass seriously as well as keepin with his hip hop roots. being associated with drum n bass labels renegade hardware/ tov music. which he represented in South East Asia 

 In 1999 Q headed for Thailand playing on the island of Koh Pha Ngan at the legendary full moon party for millenium(no.7 party spot around the world) being lucky enough to have the peak spot 11-2, & then going on to play over 20 full moons

 In the Noughties having many good oportunities in bangkok & Thailand & around south east asia Q rose up through the scene playing at many festivals & events, being the 1st DJ in Thailand to DJ at a gala film premiere, Bad company followed by Bad Boys 2.

 He also held down many residencies around bangkok. helping build the infamous sunday night Hip Hop jams at Q Bar which were legendary in the bangkok scene. Through the popularity of these nights Q Bar was able to help pioneer international acts coming to bangkok & Q was lucky enough to open for some of the legends in the Hip Hop game such as DJ Jazzy jeff, DJ Cash Money, Jungle Brothers, & ICE T to name but a few as well as playing the concert after parties for Black Eyed Peas & 50 cent (with dj whookid).

On the production tip Q had several music credits for co-production and scratches on various music projects,working with Thai artists, & international producers as well as being the dj in the band Kai Jo Brothers signed to universal music Thailand.
